I try my best to follow Jesus, love my family well, and live a life worth telling.

I don’t always get it right. In many cases, I get it wrong. Most of what I write here, I’m still learning how to live myself. These aren’t answers, they’re lessons I’ve learned, things I’m still wrestling with, thoughts on faith and theology as I spend more time in the Bible, poetry I’m writing, and a few rules for the road I’m trying to follow along the way.

I’m writing as much to remind and challenge myself as I am to share any of it with you.

If something here strengthens your faith, gives you something to think about, or simply helps you along your own road, then it was worth writing.

Because after all, as Matthew McConaughey put it, “Sometimes we don’t need advice. Sometimes we just need to hear we’re not the only one.”
